Our weekly WebMingle is designed to give you some insight into the puzzling world of HR technology, discuss news from around the world that we find interesting, talk about upcoming events in our industry, and provide insightful interviews with people of our industry – who they are, what they do and why you should care. The WebMingle has become the most popular live weekly Internet show in the HR technology industry! It has truly redefined how people get information about vendors, trends and really anything related to HR technology.
The 30-minute special event WebMingle on February 21st, our 53rd show in our WebMingle series, featured executives from HRchitect. With me were Rick Fletcher, President & Founder, Dan Katavola, EVP of Consulting Services, Jim Powers, VP of Talent Management Consulting Services, and Ron Hanscome, a Senior HCM Consultant with HRchitect.
The “30 in 30” concept is new to this industry and allows HRchitect executives to present a look back at the previous 30 days or so and cover major events that took place in our industry in a 30 minute snapshot. It is a unique format to summarize major happenings in our industry by the leaders in HR technology consulting. Some of the items covered included:
- 2010 shift in HR technology buying
- Mergers, acquisitions, continued consolidation, new vendors, and vendors raising money
- The continued emergence of Onboarding
- Emergence of Workforce Planning
- Industry events
- …and much more
